Identity Course
I ran an Identity course in my home just after Christmas this year. We had picked up a number of interested enquirers from Christmas events and Identity proved to be ideal material to help them understand more about the gospel. Lee’s talks are clear, biblical and winsome; what’s more, they are exactly twenty minutes long and leave plenty of time for discussion. His shorter talks, about seven minutes each, aimed at answering common questions raised by the gospel, are right on the money too; a very useful supplement for each evening.
The first night we had two ‘A’ level students, two lorry drivers, a teacher and a consultant eye doctor. Everyone enjoyed the evening and – crucially – they all came back for the rest of the course. Identity is pitched at exactly the right level and all my guests found it comprehensible and stimulating.
We will certainly be using Identity again. -
Identity Course
Today will see the last session of the Identity Course. We have run the course with a small group of non-Christian women and they and the Christians helping, have found it incredibly clear and challenging.
I would definitely recommend this recommend the use of this and hope to have the opportunity to run it again in the near future. -
The most comprehensive and creative
Identity is the most comprehensive and creative user friendly evangelistic tool that I have seen to date! Lee McMunn’s straightforward delivery of the talks in the live setting are both clear, concise and highly engaging. He unpacks events from Johns gospel in a way that grabs the listener, drawing them into the passage and provides space for seekers to discuss what God is revealing from the Bible. The short apologetical talks on the hot topics of our day like; Are science and Christianity enemies of friends? and Why do we suffer? are succinct and provide an excellent platform to build meaningful conversations with any sceptic as well as equipping Christians in tackling such questions in their day to day life.
The abundance of rich resources which have been made freely available on the www.identitycourse.com website are by far the most plentiful and generous I have ever seen anywhere. At last here is a course which genuinely can be run in multiple and flexible ways; from large group gatherings, house group style, one to one and even by correspondence with a seeking friend on the other side of the table or even the world! Everything that you could possibly ever need has been made available.
I highly recommend this course and feel that it will be instrumental in reaching many for Christ as well as equipping the saints in the great commission.
