This is a good book if you want an introduction to Paul’s first letter
to the church at Thessalonica. Roger Carswell shows us from Acts 17 how the church begun, and then from a study of the five chapters of 1 Thessalonians, he shows how the church was established, grew and matured. We see how the church was encouraged in the midst of difficult days to walk obediently before the Lord. Carswell shows us how Christians should behave towards other Christians in the church today, and also how they should behave in society today in the light of events such as the second coming of Christ.
