Vintage Church is written in Mark’s usual forthright style, and is a great tool for any church to use in evaluating it’s own philosophy (and how it got there in the first place!) towards leadership, preaching, church discipline, membership, mission, and anything and everything else important in the ministry of a local church. Mark knows what he thinks about such things, and whilst you might not agree with all his conclusions and applications, this book would be of invaluable service to any church member or leader who loves the church and longs for it to be more faithful and effective.
