The NIV Scripture Journals contain the entirety of each New Testament book, coupled with lined note pages on the opposite page of the scripture text. They are ideal for use as personal study books, sermon note-taking or creative Bible Journaling.
The journals are produced with sewn binding to ensure they are durable and long lasting, but also have the flexibility to fold flat to allow for easy writing and marking.
Thick white pages which don't show through a variety of pens and paint types.
Single column Bible text.
Generous 12pt font and space between the lines for easy reading.
This pack contains all the books of the New Testament:
Inside, these are very smart looking – nice font, well spaced, stylishly laid out. The obvious comparison are the ESV journals. These NIVs have white rather than cream paper, and seem to be a slightly thicker grade (or at least, they don’t suffer from the see–through problem like the ESVs). Each has an introduction to the book in question for context, which is lacking in the ESV journals. This has square rather than rounded corners, and is slightly taller so feels less like a journal and more like a traditional book. It also has a nice NT reading plan in the back pages. These were a bargain price so I won’t don’t want to nit–pick, but because they aren’t in a case like the ESV NT set, these all came a little scuffed and rough/marked around the edges and spine. Publishers feel free to ignore: my fantasy scripture journal: a left–handed edition where the notes page is on the opposite side.
