A common way of referring to Christians is as ‘disciples’. The root of this word comes from the word for ‘to learn’ and so teaches us that as Christians we are on a lifelong learning course, growing in our knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, the Truth. At times this is easy, at other times it is harder and so we need every help that we can find. There’s always more that we can learn or be reminded of about God, what He’s done for us and how that changes our lives. There is one resource that we can all benefit from: Christian books. This gives us the opportunity to, as it were, chat with great Christian thinkers, both alive and dead, and benefit from their wisdom and experience. Hopefully this part of the website will give you some good ideas to that end, but do contact James Nash or Kirsty Ewbank if you want some more pointers.
