The Growth Group Notebook (Hardback) by

This is not a personal journal. It’s a companion for your growth group (or ‘homegroup’ or ‘connectgroup’ or whatever else you might call them at your church). It’s designed to help your group grow together and grow the gospel together.

Each section aims to focus your collective attention on gospel concerns so that as you study the Bible together, pray together, promote the gospel together, and serve and care for one another, you slowly take on the likeness and fullness of Christ.

In its pages, you can record group prayer points and jot down regular reflections on things God has been teaching you from your times studying the Bible together. But there are also helpful articles on a variety of topics relating to the life of your group, suggestions for broadening the scope of your group prayers, and advice on setting helpful group goals and expectations.

As a bonus, we’ve also thrown in a section for you to record notes from sermons.

The Growth Group Notebook

This is not just a normal notebook, or a lined pad, it is must better than that! Each page has sections for you to take specific notes in, for example ‘what I learned from this study’ and ‘questions I still have’ and ‘who would benefit from me sharing with them what I’ve learned today?’. There are also six–week review pages which get you to reflect over previous studies and to think about the coming studies. I lead the Small Group ministry in the church that I serve at, I currently write booklets with note taking sections. But this book is much nicer and slicker than my wee booklets. This book could be really beneficial because it means that you could keep all of your notes in the one place and it also has a sermon notes section too so that you can use it on Sunday as well as at Bible study (but more about sermon notes later in the week!). This would be a great tool for you to use in your Small Groups, I think it would be a huge encouragement for you to also be able to look back over notes and see how God has been at work in your life. I highly recommend that people consider getting this resource.

The notebook is a great quality hardback. Useful articles. Main part is the space for bible study notes with useful headings and pointers. I've only just started using it but it's helping me think about sharing what I've learned with others, praying for my group members more, joining up what I've learned week to week, and discussing Sunday's sermon with my small group.
